Due to “Tradition + Modernity in Contemporary Architecture of X-CITY” Project, TraMod ACADEMY-TraMod EVENTS with the partnership of Ivan Cultural Group held its Isfahan episode in 15th June 2023
The Event was held at Safavi historical house and professional architects were invited as keynote speakers of this event. Mohammad Reza Ghanei, famous Isfahani architect and head of Polsheer Consulting Engineers, Siavash Sufinejad, Architect, interior & product designer and Founder of Villa Sufia and Mahdi Kamboozia, International awarded architect, were invited to have their lectures on how tradition and modernity can have dialog in the layers of design
The event was directed by Javad Eiraji and Andisheh Moshiri and the narrator of Isfahan was Sahand Monshi. Sufinejad, as the first keynote speaker of the event, had a quick review of theories of tradition and modernity. Ghanei, as one of the effective architects of Isfahan, talked about Isfahan, its history and contemporary architecture of this beautiful city and Kamboozia, International award-winner architect, shared his projects and discussed on how tradition can talk with today
How tradition can have interaction with modernity in architecture and design, is the main research problem of TraMod ACADEMY and the mentioned project is looking for solutions for this problem by studying contemporary architecture of different cities. Istanbul, Bursa, Baku, Isfahan, Dubai, Doha, Tehran, New Delhi, Muscat, Baghdad, Ankara and many other cities in middle east and other countries are the next destinations of to “Tradition + Modernity in Contemporary Architecture of X-CITY” Project
